Dr. Ashleigh Collins, Mining Director, Baker Hughes Ashleigh brings more than a decade of experience to this webinar, serving as Mining Director for the APAC region and acting as a subject matter expert for the mining sector to the global Baker Hughes organisation. She holds a PhD in Mineral Process Engineering from the prestigious Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC) at The University of Queensland and her career spans a range of technical and management positions for major mining OEMs including Weir Minerals, Multotec, and Epiroc before joining Baker Hughes in early 2021. Ashleigh possesses both theoretical and practical expertise in her field, having worked in hands-on roles across mine sites globally for commodities that include base metals, precious metals, mineral sands, lithium, diamonds, alumina, coal, and iron ore. Ashleigh resides in Perth, Australia, and assists customers and salespeople across the globe in meeting the reliability and profitability challenges of a modern mine using the portfolio of products and services offered by Baker Hughes.
Chris Engdahl, Application Solution Architect, Bently Nevada - a Baker Hughes business Chris brings 30 years of deep experience to this webinar and began his career with Bently Nevada in 2001 as a machinery diagnostics engineer where he was responsible for assessing machinery health using vibration and other machine condition data. Previously, Chris provided similar engineering services as an end user for 10 years in the mining, energy, and related industries. Chris now supports Bently Nevada sales and service teams in selecting and implementing the right technologies, instruments, and software to address challenging asset health monitoring applications. Chris also has experience in experimental stress analysis and data acquisition methodologies. He received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Sydney and currently resides in Sydney, Australia, with his family.
