Major Drilling appoints Sprott executive as director

Donally has worked on the investment side of the global mining industry for almost three decades.

Most recently, she has served as the managing partner of Sprott Resource Streaming and Royalty Corp. At Sprott, she oversaw the streaming and royalty business and held the managing partner position.

Before her time at Sprott, Donally was a managing director at Denham Capital, where she sourced mining investment opportunities.

She also managed "all aspects of a mining investment portfolio in excess of  US$1 billion across North and South America and Africa," the statement read.

Donally has also worked as a project and structured finance banker with Rand Merchant Bank and Investec Limited.

She is a formally trained chartered accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. She also holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa.

Major Drilling has several field operations and offices across the globe in Canada, the US, Mexico, South America, Asia, Africa, and Australia.

The mining services provider offers a complete suite of drilling services, including surface and underground coring, directional, reverse circulation, sonic, geotechnical, environmental, water-well, coal-bed methane, shallow gas, and underground percussive/long-hole drilling.
