PRESS RELEASE: The greenfield Byerwen mine site is located 20km west of Glenden in Queensland’s Bowen Basin.
The contracts have a combined revenue of almost A$100 million (US$75.6 million).
Two engineering, procurement and construction contracts will deliver a stockpiling and train load-out facility (work has commenced and will conclude in early 2018), and a coal handling and processing plant (commencing in late 2017 and concluding in 2018). A third contract includes the initial operation of the crushing, stockpiling (commencing in December 2017).
