Flow Metals to deploy Windfall Geotek's AI tech

The Brenda project lies within the Quesnel Terrane which also hots the Elk high-grade gold mine.

Windfall Geotek will deploy its CARDS AI modelling system on the 100 square kilometre project area, which the company has described as "prospective but challenging".

The Brenda project lies within the Quesnel Terrane, a Triassic-Jurassic age arc of volcano-sedimentary rocks recognised for its prevalence of copper, gold and molybdenum. It is on strike with the neighbouring high grade, gold-producing Elk gold mine that has a measured and indicated resource of 400,000 ounces of gold.

Historical trenching on the property has identified narrow quartz veins grading up to 15.4 g/t Au and rock samples grading up to 265 g/t Au. Very little exploration work has been done on the property since the 1990s.

"We are looking to generate new gold targets at New Brenda using the CARDS AI approach," said Scott Sheldon, chief executive of Flow Metals. "We are very confident that it can help us in a prospective but challenging area with very little surface exposure."

Windfall Geotek worked with Flow Metals previously on the Ashuanipi gold property located 30-90 km west and north-west of Schefferville, Quebec.

In September 2019, using a detailed survey, Windfall Geotek refined a new CARDS AI gold signature for Ashuanipi and generated 52 precise CARDS AI gold targets on the property. Based on combined CARDS AI and geophysical targets, Windfall Geotek selected 18 priority target zones for gold and reduced the property from 298 to 115 claims.
