GoldSpot said it has been retained to assist at TRU's Golden Rose and Twilite gold projects, which are both located in central Newfoundland Gold Belt.

The company said it is already proving its AI algorithms at other locations in the province, applying it to important mineral discoveries and significantly increasing efficiencies and success rates for explorers.

"We are excited to bring our technology back to Newfoundland where we built tremendous expertise over the years," executive chairman and president Denis Laviolette said.

"As the premier geological and data partner in the province, [we have] worked with multiple exploration companies and their management teams to drive results. We are confident we will help TRU capitalize on their existing infrastructure and exploration potential to identify new discoveries on their properties."

TRU president and CEO Joel Freudman said GoldSpot's place in its work will be to use its AI technologies to target and accelerate the miner's exploration program. This will be particularly helpful, he said, at Golden Rose's deposit-bearing Cape Ray - Valentine Lake Shear Zone.

In all, TRU has a portfolio of five gold exploration properties in the gold belt region. It owns 100% of the Golden Rose project as well as Twilite.
