Product releases with this update include Jasset, J2dragline, and Jsurfaceminer. Jasset now allows users to monitor all their mobile and semi-mobile assets with seamless integration into their existing network. From supervisor vehicles to communications trailers, and even generators, users can track the location and important operational parameters of these assets through Jmineops.

J2dragline, Hexagon Mining’s fourth generation dragline monitoring system, incorporates navigation, production, and safety features, and is fully integrated with its Jmineops office software. Building on over 20 years’ experience in dragline monitoring, J2dragline is the company’s most advanced release yet, empowering sites to get the most out of their biggest machines.

Jsurfaceminer optimises productivity and safety through visualisations and instantaneous feedback to surface miner operators. Integrating with the Leica Jigsaw platform, Jsurfaceminer further enhances the wide variety of machine types supported to maximise productivity across a fleet.

Hexagon Mining stated that today’s economy demands ever increasing efficiency and productivity, which is why the company continues to innovate. Enhancements in this version include automation of several workflows and an improved user experience. These enhancements are designed to boost productivity and ensure accurate data capture.

An auto zero hole improvement to J2drill saves time by allowing the drill operator to commence drilling without interacting with the J2drill user interface. Instead, the J2drill now automatically zeroes in when the bit is lowered to the ground. Upgrades to other modules, including Joptimizer, J2dozer, J2shovel, and Jtruck are also included.

Hexagon Mining said that it is committed to maximising the safety of all mine personnel. Through improvements to Jmineops, operators are now provided with additional indicators of road conditions and speed limits to make driving safer. Jsuper can now be configured so the supervisor sees all over-speed messages from vehicles in real time.
