GHH, Titan partner up, add machines to range

Companies cooperate to make GHH a full-range underground mining supplier

GHH said it would supply the new range under its own brand name, while Titan would remain independently active in the market

GHH said the strategic move would "open up a new chapter" in its history, as through the collaboration with Titan it would now also offer concrete spraying machines, transmixers and pumps.

In addition, the portfolio will include utility vehicles such as passenger transporters, light cranes, scissor lifts, mini dumpers, boom trucks and ANFO charge trucks in rigid or articulated design.

GHH said it would thus supply (almost) every type of machine on wheels required for underground mining. It is already known as a manufacturer of load-haul-dumpers, underground dump trucks, drilling and bolting rigs, as well as scalers for the mining industry.

"We are delighted to have Titan as an experienced partner for additional equipment that ideally complements our core range," managing director Jan Olaf Petzold said.

Titan business development director Ergun Sokulluoglu said the cooperation was a step forward for it as well, as it would be growing into markets where it previously had no representation.

"In fact, the new overall programme is lucrative for many companies in construction, civil engineering and underground mining, [covering] practically all major fields of work and [offering benefits] in logistics, maintenance and training," Sokulluoglu added. "The fact that there are also advantages in terms of rent, financing and used equipment makes it even more interesting."

GHH said it would supply the new range under its own brand name, while Titan would remain independently active in the market.

Under the partnership, GHH will provide machines in many parts of the world, including North, Central and South America, in large parts of Africa, Australia and India, as well as numerous European countries.
