Specifically, Aramine will be distributor for the OEM in France, the Central African Republic, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Gambia, the Republic of Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
The new strategic agreement was confirmed December 23.
Aramine president Marc Melkonian said the Epiroc product line complemented its portfolio. Additionally, the company is aiming to boost Epiroc's presence in the involved regions - including bringing on needed support.
In fact, according to the companies, distribution of Epiroc products in Africa will be led by Aramine Burkina in Ouagadougou.
"The long-term link between Aramine and Epiroc is historic regarding both our collaboration and the distribution of the products of our respective brands. It is therefore an important evolution of these relations since we work hand in hand in very active and demanding markets such as France and West Africa," Epiroc director Jean-Baptiste Corona said.
"We are developing a new local offer with this partnership."
France-based Aramine is also a distributor for Normet and BTI machines in a selection of countries through its African subsidiary.
