Braveheart management is working towards a restart of the mine near Cranbrook.
The company needs a new TSF to manage tailings waste from processing an existing stockpile of mineralized material on the surface and future underground mining.
The preferred tailings deposition technology is dry stack tailings and Braveheart has identified a site adjacent to the process plant and within the permit boundary.
Should Stantec identify other technologies as better options for the project, Stantec and Braveheart will review the impacts on the regulatory application process.
