Ther company restarted milling operations from stockpiled material at the mine in August after the operation was suspended due to COVID-19 late in the March quarter.
The first shipment comprised 1,322 tonnes of concentrate.
The completion of Main Shaft transition to its permanent production configuration is still on schedule for completion in November this year.
Once the milestone is reached, increased hoisting rates will allow mining operations to ramp up towards mill design capacity.
Underground development work is also on schdule. Nevada Copper has elected to reduce the size of certain early stopes in a localised area where initial ramp-up ore is planned.
The company continues to plan ongoing monthly increasing ore production rates, with production of 5,000 tonnes per day expected to be achieved during the first quarter of 2021 rather than the year-end.
