Hecla, EPA agree settlement of water pollution

Hecla Mining has agreed to pay a US$600,000 penalty as part of a settlement with the US Environmental Protection Agency and US Department of Justice over water pollution near the headwaters of the South Fork Coeur d’Alene River in Idaho.
