The developing platform will examine the potential for using or creating cryptocurrency for integration into DNI’s business models.
DNI said its goal is to be a leader in the use of blockchain technology for mining practices, greenfield development and customer interaction. It also feels the strategic alliance with Blockmine will put it at the forefront of emerging blockchain technology.
“Graphite is a product that has hundreds of different specs, and having the ability to provide mine-to-customer specifications of a specific product will provide assurance to DNI’s customers,” DNI said. “The BMD model is a clear, concise pathway utilising the blockchain model, including but not limited to cryptocurrency in a strategic format…to revolutionise the way mine development and mineral exploration is accomplished.”
BMD president Brent Rouble noted it recognises the importance of DNI’s graphite property for future high-tech industrial graphite applications.
There will be no costs to DNI at this time, the company said, and BMD will use DNI as a test case as it develops its platform.
