BHP chooses SIMPEC as South Flank plant engineer

SIMPEC will be involved in completing South Flank's ore-handling plant area

PRESS RELEASE: Under the scope of the new order, SIMPEC will provide expert engineering services directly to BHP in relation to efficiently completing the ore-handling plant area.

The contractor has already conducted a Constructability and Estimate Review Desktop

Study for BHP on this project, as announced in February 2018.
The total value of orders from BHP to date adds up to A$450,000 (US$336,500).

SIMPEC managing director Mark Dimasi said: "We are pleased to be working with BHP on South Flank and look forward to this early involvement in the project translating into further works."

WestStar's director Bert Mondello added: "It's a testament to the SIMPEC team that they have forged a direct partnership with BHP in less than 12 months of operation."
