NRW to put Eliwana on the rails

Contractor to establish artery for Fortescue mine

The A$62-million (US$44.4-million) deal, first announced at the end of 2018 after the Eliwana project was approved, will include earthworks, roadworks and drainage works.

Neither company disclosed a start date or specific timeline for the work.

Eliwana, which has an estimated annual production of 170 million tonnes over two decades, should be in production by late next year.
