Neles has signed seven new distributor agreements and one agent agreement with companies working in sectors such as petrochemicals, chemicals, fertilisers and steel.

The firms include the Mexican arm of valve supplier Henze, Peruvian automation company 3r ingenieria, Trinidad and Tobago's Control Technologies, and industrial automation supplier Tritec from Bolivia.

"We continuously aim to strengthen our distribution network with best-in-class channel partners that have proven expertise and service capability to meet customer needs," says Kyle Rayhill, Manager in charge of global distribution development at Neles.

"We are happy to welcome these new partners to our network to be close to customers and to help meet their demand for reliable flow control solutions. Together we have great potential to grow by offering market leading expertise and a broad portfolio of solutions," says Cesar Gomez, South America business manager at Neles.

Neles is the moniker for Metso's Flow Control business which was demerged prior to the merger of Metso's Minerals business and Outotec to form Metso Outotec.

Neles makes valves for processing plants in a variety of sectors, including the mining, metals and steel industry.
