Utilising best practices from successful rollouts in the field, Track'em founder and CEO Kashif Saleem said the solution has been completely rebuilt. It is based on the Microsoft Azure platform for scaleability and certified security and compliance.

Its mobile app platform allows users to digitise its paper processes as well as rapidly locate items as they are needed, and the browser-based desktop version of the solution gives operations advanced reporting, dashboards and material control processing.

"Materials generally account for at least 50% of construction project costs," Saleem noted.

"Yet, often there is no central materials tracking system that allows asset owners, construction companies, EPCs, suppliers and contractors to work collaboratively ensuring the right materials are at the right location at the right time at the right quantity and quality."

Track'em project manager Matt Ward said it has applied its feedback from its clients to make the platform as comprehensive as possible for material tracking and management.

"Track'em Materials is centred around process optimisation and quality assurance during this lifecycle, giving customer continuous insight into the location, status and custodian of all their materials." He added that, as a hardware agnostic, the solution can integrate with any IoT tracking identification technology, including barcodes, RFID, GPS and Bluetooth.

In addition to materials tracking, the company also offers timesheet and progress tracking as well as asset maintenance plant and equipment tracking.
