Centric said in a separate statement it will remain an independent business under the Datamine umbrella and retain its brand name.
Datamine, a subsidiary of Vela Software, itself an operating group of Constellation Software, said the integration of the companies will offer an environment for customers that provides full visibility of KPIs and operational metrics, and thus better and more informed decision-making.
In addition, Centric's growth will be supported by Datamine's 28-office network in 20 countries.
Canada-based Centric's solutions include mine metrics, fleet management, processing operations, haulage management, drill and blast, health and safety, environmental metrics, sample management, ore accounting and metallurgical balancing.
Datamine's services include exploration, geological data, resources and reserves, underground planning, open-pit planning, and supply chain management.
