US uranium production surges as domestic incentives kick-in

US production of uranium concentrate rose in the second quarter of 2023 by almost 200% to 7,443 lb as major political moves designed to boost domestic supplies start to take effect, data released by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Monday showed.
