The deal calls for 35,000t; Wallbridge is still waiting for the permits to commence mining the bulk sample. It is projecting the delivery of ore in the June quarter of next year.
Monarques president and chief executive Jean-Marc Lacoste said the new deal with Wallbridge is the second in the last few weeks it has signed for processing at the mill.
“Our goal is to have the Camflo mill running at full capacity, and we are pursuing our efforts to negotiate other custom milling agreements in order to achieve that goal,” Lacoste said, noting it has already received its certificate of authorisation to up its production capacity there from 1,200tpd to 1,600tpd.
In addition to Camflo, Monarques’ portfolio includes the Beaufor mine, the Croinor Gold and Wasamac advanced projects and the Beacon mill, along with six exploration projects.
