Hudson Resources restarted construction work at the Greenland mine in April

At its 100%-owned calcium feldspar mine, Hudson has reached 70% completion of the mechanical installation and internal steel work for the process plant, and it is expecting to begin a 10-week effort to erect the mine's ore storage building steel this week.

Additionally, the truck shop and accommodation complex are both complete and ready, and all of the major needed process equipment and steel has arrived at the site. A staff of 38 will grow to a peak of 44 by next month.

To date this year, Hudson said White Mountain's port facility has received four ships. Combined, they have delivered more than 400t of steel, equipment and construction supplies.

"We are very pleased with the excellent progress," president James Tuer said of the work that initially recommenced in April.

"So far, we are on target to start commissioning in October, with the objective of getting our first shipment of product out before the end of the year."

Hudson has selected its contractor for steel and mechanical erection of the process plant, ore storage building and material handling facilities, Ironclad Metals of British Columbia; Ironclad is supported by the mechanical installation firm Gisborne.

The electrical installation contract was awarded to Danish company Lillegaarden EL. Its work to commence electrical installation will begin early next month. Construction management will continue to be provided by Vancouver group Merit Consultants International.
