PRESS RELEASE: This then facilitates removal and installation of the hydrocyclones and any other component.

It is typical for hydrocyclone installations to be at the highest level of a process plant, and there is often no crane available. In addition, where plants are in more remote locations access to cranes or materials handling equipment is limited.

Multotec anticipates that having a dedicated crane available will not only reduce downtime and costs associated with maintenance but will also enhance safety during these activities. In addition to making it easier to handle the hydrocyclones and componentry, the maintenance crew will also be able to attach their safety harnesses to the cross member when working at height.
