Company officials said the lining of the facility, constructed in-house, is in place and the dam's base is now being covered with reprocessed tailings.

The TSF was the last key permit needed for the Granville's expansion. Aus Tin is now looking toward resumption and boosting tin concentrate production.

Over this month, it will be transitioning the plant from reprocessed tailings and stockpiled material to ore from Granville East.

The Granville tin project, located north of Zeehan on the west coast of Tasmania, is within the Heemskirk tin field and commenced concentrate production in August 2016.
