The bar, created November 5, weighed 380oz and contained 220.8oz of gold.

Para is hoping to produce two to three dorés at Gold Road monthly as it ramps up to its target of 2,500-3,000oz of gold per month during the March quarter of 2020.

"The doré bar and in-circuit inventory balances with the last nine days run of the Gold Road mill," president Ian Harris said. "We look forward to increasing bar size now that plant in-process inventory has been established, and mine continues to add additional mining faces and convert to stope mining, which will produce higher grades due to lower dilution."

Gold Road has also taken delivery of the first of two Alimak machines and will be installing it this month. A second will follow early in the March quarter of next year.

With both Alimaks in place, Para said it will have access to two new production raises that will give the mine access to the higher-grade material and improve airflow to the lowest levels of the mine.

Gold Road is located in Mohave County, just northeast of the Arizona border with California and Nevada.

Para Resources also owns the El Limon mine in Zaragoza, Colombia.
