In 2013-14, FLSmidth designed and supplied the main equipment for JSC Pavlik's processing line 1.
According to the engineering company, this single-source approach for the plant proved successful for the customer.
It will now supply equipment across the complete flowsheet for the planned seven-million-tonnes-per-year plant, which will operate alongside the original processing plant.
This order includes materials handling, flotation, gravity concentrators, screens, gold leaching, dewatering, pumps, cyclones, valves, instruments and reagent systems, as well as a complete plant electrical and automation package.
The mining company awarded FLSmidth the engineering contract in 2019, while the equipment supply contract will be booked in the March quarter and begin in the December quarter of 2020.
The plant is expected to commence operation between late 2021 and early 2022.
