Under the terms of the agreement Process Mineralogical Consulting will be the exclusive provider of mineralogical and metallurgical services to Gekko.
The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art mineral analysing equipment capable of assessing orebodies and troubleshooting or optimising processing circuits.
PMC president Geoffrey Lane said incorporating Gekko's gold processing knowledge was expected to help the company further develop metallurgical capabilities.
"Our combined strengths will enable both companies to offer more capabilities for more customers looking to find data supported solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner," he said.
Gekko Systems general manager Nigel Grigg said the agreement would boost PMC's mineralogical testing capabilities and help evaluate the suitability of Gekko's processing technology for specific projects.
"Gekko Systems is very pleased to be aligning with PMC to provide cost effective and efficient metallurgical laboratory testing capabilities in North America," he said.
"We are also enthusiastic at being able to offer PMC mineralogy expertise to our clients to add further value to their projects."
