Canada-based Fiore Gold produced a record fourth-quarter production of 13,527 ounces at its Pan open pit mine in Nevada, with yearly production topping out at 45,397 ounces.
Yearly production at Pan is the mid-point in the company's guidance range of 44,000 to 47,000 ounces for the year, the company said.
Fiore Gold reported mined ore production for the year at 14,047 tons per day at 0.45 g/t, with a stripping ratio of 1.5, while fourth-quarter production totaled 16,639 tons per day at 0.41 g/ton with the same stripping ratio.
Gold production in the fourth quarter cost an average price of $1,790 per ounce, down from full-year average costs of $1,807 per ounce.
Fiore Gold also launched its Phase 3 heap leach pad in July, which added two years to Pan's mine life to 2025, the company said.
Fiore Gold fully owns the Pan mine, following its acquisition from GRP Minerals in 2016. Pan has measured resources of 11,416 tons at 0.53 g/t for 175,000 tons of gold, indicated resources of 19,714 tons at 0.44 g/t for 252,000 ounces of gold, and inferred resources of 3,726 tons at 0.56 g/t for 61,000 ounces of gold.
