Carrizal Mining has commenced construction works to expand the mill

The expansion at the facility in Zacatecas, Mexico, should be complete by the June quarter of this year.

Santacruz said the project, paired with a newly acquired drilling permit for the mine, will give it more reliable operations and “provide a solid base for growing the company", according to COO Carlos Silva.

The Mexican-focused miner has two producing silver projects, including Veta Grande, and Rosario, which includes the Cinco Estrellas property and Membrillo prospect. It also has two exploration properties, Minillas and Zacatecas.
