The crew, CMC said, will manage primary and secondary crushing and assaying of a 600-ton/544.3-tonne stockpile prior to transport of higher gold-containing materials to the company's Bishop mill, as the facility begins to ready an adequate supply for starting and testing a mill circuit.
In the coming 120 days, CMC is targeting the extraction of another 2,000 tons/1,814 tonnes from the Inyo County property for the bulk sample plan.
The stockpile material to be crushed is left over from a bulk sample taken from the Radcliff underground operation and then delivered to Klondex Mines' Midas property in Nevada last year.
Radcliff is also known as the 'World Beater mine'. It is 50% owned by CMC, with the remaining interest held by Pruett Ballarat (PBI).
