Under the agreement, Arrow's IoT group will provide consultancy and assist with designing and delivering solutions based on Sensera products, including system integration and deployment. The agreement covers Sensera's IoT solutions division, Nanotron Technologies, and its MicroDevices division, Sensera Inc.

Prior to the current agreement, Arrow distributed Nanotron Technologies' products in limited geographies. It will now offer Sensera's entire product portfolio to its worldwide customer base.

"Arrow is a global leader in IoT solutions and we are delighted to work together with them to bring our IoT sensor technology to a broader base of customers around the world," said Sensera CEO Ralph Schmitt.

"Their extensive team of sales and applications professionals will allow us to deliver our mission-critical sensor technology to significantly more customers."

Sensera designs and manufactures end-to-end sensor solutions, combining proximity detection and tracking in real time. The mining sector is one of the key markets for Nanotron Technologies, Sensera's wholly owned subsidiary based in Germany, specialising in electronic location awareness solutions.

Arrow is one of the world's largest technology solution providers, with annual sales of US$29.7 billion and over 200,000 customers.
