Canuc will be able to distribute and sell M3SH's wireless sensors. It also has exclusive rights with Ioticiti Networks to sell industrial IoT (IIoT) applications to the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan as well as the US state of Texas.

"M3SH shall contribute technology solutions enabling Canuc to facilitate applications with mining and extractive industry clients. Canuc and M3SH are working towards a definitive agreement," Canuc said.

M3SH products include wearable worker safety, proximity detection and location monitoring devices along with environmental monitoring, gas/noise/dust/fire detection devices, automation control solutions and other sensor-rich systems. It has more than 40 product lines which can be deployed in the mining industry.

"This MoU signals our intent to provide technological IoT solutions to the North American mining markets, and to facilitate the adoption and sales of IIoT products. Partnering with M3SH will help us to expand our IIoT offering in North America," Canuc CEO Christopher Berlet said.

M3SH CEO Andre Jansen Van Rensburg added that it has focused on making work easier, safer and more connected.

"For M3SH this MoU marks a significant development in our ability to deploy our IIoT solutions while working with Canuc and using the Ioticiti Networks platform."

Canuc owns the San Javier silver-gold project in Mexico as well as oil and gas assets in the US.
