The deal was made through Draganfly's Dronelogics Systems division and is still subject to closing conditions and Global UAV shareholder approval.

Draganfly president Scott Larson called Global UAV Technologies a "leader within the commercial UAV sector" which provides a full spectrum of UAV-based services, including production, research and design of professional grade UAVs, geophysics and remote sensing survey services and regulatory consulting and management.

"This transaction allows us to expand our service offering, branch into new industries, particularly the mining and resource sector, and continue to be an innovation leader," he added.

A closing date for the transaction was not provided.

Draganfly initially announced it was seeking to acquire the companies on May 20, inking a letter of intent at that time.
