French software firm Dassault Systèmes plans to partner with Indian organisation Technology Innovation in Exploration and Mining (TEXMiN) on the establishment of a Centre of Excellence at the Indian School of Mines in Dhanbad.
Dassault Systèmes will provide students at the new centre, to be called the Mining Technology Excellence Centre, with access to its 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
The company's platform simulates geological modelling and mine engineering, as well as workforce and production scheduling, and supply chain optimisation.
