Veracio and IDS team up to offer advanced drilling tools

The collaboration between IDS and Veracio signifies a joint vision for transforming the drilling workflow by combining IDS's directional drilling expertise with Veracio's geological data collection capabilities. The strategic partnership aims to reduce costs, minimise waste, and promote sustainable mining practices.

"Our collaboration further strengthens Veracio's position in the US market, reinforcing our commitment to advancing the mining industry with cutting-edge solutions," said JT Clark, chief executive of Veracio.  "Together with IDS, we are dedicated to redefining industry standards and delivering unparalleled solutions."

According to the statement, the duo's key objectives include deploying cutting-edge technologies to enhance the accuracy and quality of drill hole data analysis, leveraging Veracio's growing fleet of technologies for increased productivity, and elevating client support and satisfaction by delivering data-driven insights and innovative solutions.

IDS currently serves as the distributor for Veracio's TruShot, a precise magnetic survey tool designed for driller deployment.

Additionally, the announcement introduced Veracio's TruGyro, described as the most compact and integrated continuous north-seeking gyro tool in drilling.
