Both activities returned at full scale on January 26; the mill reinitiated at 1,750 tonnes per day but will boost that in the coming weeks to reach or exceed 2,000t/d.

Underground mining began about two weeks ago, the company confirmed, and material is being moved to the mill from the mine.

Campo Morado had been idled since August 2019.

Canada-based Telson purchased the mine in 2017, declaring commercial production in May 2018. It produces zinc, copper, gold, silver and lead.

Telson wholly owns another operation, Tahuehueto, in the northwestern Durango state, Mexico. It is currently under construction, at 70% completion, and is awaiting final funding to finish its plant.
