MineHub, which was launched last year by Kutcho Copper and its industry partners, offers a blockchain platform for the mining and metals industry. This can digitalise product sales administration, assay and trade finance elements within the supply chain.
Now, together with Amphora, MineHub is aiming to "streamline" trading operations and risk management for a widening client portfolio.
The MineHub platform will form a "connectivity layer" between Amphora's existing clients. MineHub CEO Arnoud Star Busmann said the collaboration demonstrated the platform's ability to integrate seamlessly with technology partners.
"Amphora already serves some significant players in metals and mining," said Amphora CEO Chris Mudry. "Consensus tells that there are significant opportunities for improvement in the value chain. We believe that Minehub have the right backing to create a digitised supply chain and effect long overdue change."
The MineHub platform is due to go live at the end of September.
