ME FIT System®: Fully Integrated Technology from ME Elecmetal

ME Elecmetal's ME FIT System® programs are aimed at continuous improvement through Research + Development + Innovation, carried out by a multidisciplinary group of professionals with mutual collaboration between the client and ME Elecmetal. The programs involve several initiatives, that together, aim to solve challenges and uncover opportunities to positively impact our client's key performance indicators: productivity, reliability, availability, safety, efficiency and / or energy consumption. ME FIT programs include products and services offered by ME Elecmetal and may include one or more Value Added Engineering Services (VAES), depending on the nature of the goals agreed upon with the client.

The simple supply of parts and components is not the purpose of ME FIT Systems — we seek to improve our customers' KPIs. To achieve this, we consider all factors affecting the grinding processes. We collect operational data including processed tonnage, available power, down time, load levels and all other relevant information about how their mills operate. We measure how long media and liners last, what production levels they are achieving and what opportunities there are for improvement in their comminution process.

Value Added Engineering Services (VAES) Projects

Value Added Engineering Services (VAES) projects are inspired by our value-added philosophy. The objective is to develop and formalize specific initiatives with our client. These projects seek to solve specific problems or achieve operational improvements. Programs start with an initial agreement, defining the baseline and the objectives to be achieved. This is followed by the project implementation, collaborating with the customer every step of the way. It ends with a VAES report, where ME Elecmetal records the tangible benefits of the project in a report provided to, and validated by, our customer. These reports are also useful as technical references for future projects.

Load levels, water percentage, speed, liner design, ball mill size and bolt torque are some of the variables that come into play, and digitization allows these variables to be addressed individually, or in combination to gain a better understanding of the operation.
