Outotec to deliver tech and services to Norilsk

PRESS RELEASE: The contract value booked in Outotec's 2017 September quarter order intake is over €13 million (US$15.3 million).

Kola MMC produces 383,000t/y of nickel concentrate in Zapolyarny. Outotec's scope includes engineering, the delivery of filtration, thickening, flotation and analyser equipment, as well as training and site services. The deliveries will take place at the end of 2018.

Kimmo Kontola, head of Outotec's minerals processing business unit, said: “Our delivery supports Norilsk Nickel's target to improve the environmental performance of the Zapolyarny operations. Outotec's dewatering, flotation and analyser solutions are designed for efficient and environmentally sound production of nickel and copper concentrates.
