Kerman awarded Greenbushes contract

PRESS RELEASE: The contract includes carrying out structural, mechanical, piping and electrical installation works for the crushing circuit at Talison Lithium’s Greenbushes operations in Western Australia as part of the CGP2 project. Construction works are due to start in May with the estimated completion in December 2018.

The scope comprises of the crushing and screening buildings and all associated materials handling systems as well as the installation of the reclaiming equipment in the secondary ore stockpile reclaim vault, stockpile reclaim belt feeder and the high pressure grinding rollers (HPGR) fresh ore conveyor plus all associated mechanical equipment. The HPGR building including conveyors, transfer station and primary screen feed sizer, the screen oversize conveyor screen oversize surge bin, surge bin belt feeder and all associated chutes.

This new project will provide employment for a workforce of approximately 100 people and Kerman’s aim is to provide opportunities to local people of the Greenbushes and the greater southwest of Western Australia.

Kerman is also currently completing a project for MSP at the Tianqi Lithium hydroxide processing plant in Kwinana, Western Australia.
