Micromate’s MM10.88 release rectifies two issues, the first because the histogram peak of the unit’s sound level microphone was higher than the waveform peak when it was recording activity in histogram combo mode and when the peak was recorded at the end of the interval.
Additionally, the update addresses corruption of histogram event files in the unit, which had been occurring when the Micromate was rebooted while recording in histogram mode.
The new firmware for all models of Minimate Pro, version FW10.75, corrects an issue relating to the auto call home feature, which would not work when the auto call home access type was set to DNS name on the unit’s monitor, the company said.
“The Minimate Pro was not correctly converting the call home DNS name to the corresponding IP address. Auto call home access types set to IP address were not affected,” it added.
The latest firmware can be obtained for both the Micromate and Minimate Pro at www.Instantel.com/resources and clicking on firmware once there. Upgrade instructions are available within the respective units’ release notes here and here.
