Texas-based enCore Energy has completed the acquisition of Azarga Uranium, giving Encore control over Azarga's two uranium projects.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is completing its review for the change of control of the Dewey Burdock Source and By-Product Licence.

enCore now owns the Dewey Burdock development project in South Dakota and the PEA-stage Gas Hills project in Wyoming. Dewey Burdock has been issued key federal targets.

The company now has a pipeline of exploration and development-stage projects containing a combined total of 90 million pounds of U3O8 in the measured and indicated categories.

This includes enCore's licensed Rosita & Kingsville production facilities in south Texas, and several ISR projects throughout Wyoming and New Mexico.

enCore plans to bring its Texas facilities to production in 2023, chief executive Paul Goranson said.

The Rosita plant modernisation is on schedule for completion in the March quarter, while enCore is expanding its Texas resource base for Rosita production. enCore is also near completion of an NI 43-101 resource estimate.

In 2022, enCore will focus on permitting the Dewey Burdock project, initiating the permitting process at Gas Hills, and advancing the Aladdin and Dewey Terrace properties in Wyoming.
