Windfall said using drone technology for its EagleEye exploration product would be a "game changer", noting that the data it uses had historically been provided by helicopter or fixed wings planes.

"The strategic relationship between the companies will allow us to bring to market the survey, sensor, and AI-driven software for digital exploration as a complete solution," said Michel Fontaine, Windfall Geotek chief executive.

The firm announced the launch of EagleEye in March, with Flow Metals noting plans to test it to advance a gold project in British Columbia.

Windfall Geotek plans to use EagleEye with a proprietary CARDS (Computer Aided Resources Detection System) platform it has developed to identify a high statistical probability of target identification within known areas of interest.
